Corporate & Wedding Hampers: Plan a Gift Set with Purpose

A simple way to plan welcome kits, client gifts, festive hampers and wedding gifting around the people receiving them.

Start with the recipient and occasion

A welcome kit, a client thank-you and a wedding hamper have different jobs. Decide who will receive the gift, what the occasion calls for and how the gift will be presented or delivered.

Build the brief around real constraints

  • Recipients and quantity: Estimate how many sets are needed and whether they need to be identical or personalized.
  • Budget: Set a per-set range and decide whether it includes packaging, assembly and delivery.
  • Contents: Choose useful or meaningful items that fit the recipient and occasion. For wedding gifting, consider the hosts, guests and any cultural or dietary requirements.
  • Branding: Decide how prominently a company or event identity should appear. Share artwork and any brand guidelines early.
  • Presentation: Choose a box, hamper, sleeve or other packaging to suit the contents and how the set will be handed over.
  • Distribution: Confirm dates, destinations, packing labels and whether items need to be delivered in batches.

Leave room for review

Product availability, branding methods and packaging choices depend on the brief and suppliers. Confirm the proposed contents, artwork, costs and delivery schedule before production. If the fit or presentation is important, ask whether a sample or prototype can be included in the scope.

A clear gift brief helps the team make sensible choices before anything is ordered or assembled.
